TITAN acquires ALPHA to provide storage solutions across Denmark

Sevgyl Abdulovski, Group CFO at TITAN Containers at the time of the acquisition, shared how TITAN’s interest in expanding its presence in the Danish market propelled them to get in touch with ALPHA Containers in late 2022:

“We had been searching the market for possible acquisitions to intensify our growth plans in Denmark, which in particular meant an increased container fleet for rental and a significant increase in turnover. Quite early in the process, it became clear to us that ALPHA Containers was the right company to invite for a cup of coffee.”

ALPHA Containers has been a leading supplier of container storage solutions in Denmark since 1998. With over 30 depots across Denmark, including in Zealand, Funen, and Jutland, it posed the perfect opportunity for TITAN Containers to achieve the growth it was looking for.

Tina Ruskjær, Director and Owner of ALPHA Containers for over 15 years, shares how the dialogue with TITAN Containers came at the perfect time for her company:

“For almost a year, we had been thinking about whether it was time to become part of something bigger. When we began the dialogue with TITAN Containers, it was obvious that the timing was right, and that TITAN Containers was the obvious buyer. We share the same values and, for me, that was maybe the most important part of the process.”

These shared values made the decision simple, and ALPHA’s strong position in Jutland made it the ideal choice for TITAN —given it had recently invested in a substantial plot of land in Kolding. Two years on, this site now boasts a depot and workshop for fitting TITAN’s special solutions, as well as a base for transporting storage containers to customers across the entire Danish peninsula.

The expansion of TITAN’s Danish operations is something that wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic support and network of ALPHA.

Following the acquisition, ALPHA Containers continues to operate from its offices in Aarhus. Tina Ruskjær, the now Regional Manager of ALPHA, remains focused on providing fast delivery, impeccable customer service, and top-quality containers to customers not only across Denmark, but the UK and beyond.
