Insulated containers available to rent from TITAN Ireland are suitable for domestic storage or shipping thanks to their strong construction and corrosion-resistant finishing.
What sets them apart from standard containers is a thin (usually 5mm) but effective layer of insulation between the exterior and interior walls of the container.
This helps to reduce the risk of condensation, which in turn can help stop your precious cargo from freezing when the ambient temperature drops.
Suitable for book collections, papers, documents, and precious objects including household items and furniture, our insulated shipping containers to rent are factory-built to provide an extra layer of comfort to anyone who stores or transports temperature-sensitive items.
Unlike our cold storage solutions, insulated containers will not chill the contents of your container – nor will they warm it up. For steady, warm temperatures, some clients choose our ArcticStore reefer containers. As well as being capable of rapid freezing, they can keep product heated to 45°C, too.
TITAN Ireland supplies factory-made insulated containers to hire – unlike some suppliers who add the skin of insulation and interior walls themselves. This can lead to poor results in some cases; we believe it’s far better to rent a purpose-built insulated container that has been built to industry standards.
On demand, our skilled engineers will provide high-quality insulation as a bespoke service, especially when customers have unique or very specific requirements. However, renting an insulated container from us more commonly means you’ll be getting one that was factory-built for the purpose.
While you can use our insulated containers year-round, they’re probably at their best in autumn and winter, when there can be large fluctuations in temperatures – which can lead to condensation. Summer heatwaves can cause condensation, too.
