How tall is a high cube container?
A High Cube container is 9ft 6in (2.89 m) tall externally. Internal headroom is 2.69 m, giving about 30 cm more space than a standard container. This makes a real difference for tall goods, garden offices, and conversions. The width and length match the standard equivalent (20ft or 40ft).
Did you know?
The extra height of a high cube container was introduced because many cargoes were limited by volume rather than weight. Adding height increased capacity without changing the container footprint. TITAN CONTAINERS ARE CERTIFIED TO, OR CAN SUPPORT COMPLIANCE WITH, THE FOLLOWING ACCREDITATIONS
